Common rooms
The resident’s bedroom is not the only place that matters. At the Naples Residence, the common rooms are essential to common life and to one’s well being throughout his/her stay. Some of the common rooms are open to friends and guests, while others are for residents only.
For residents only:
- For those who wish, the two study rooms are situated on the 2nd floor. Their bright and quiet environment is perfect for concentration.
- To encourage a healthy lifestyle, we provide the residents with an equipped fitness room (appliances, mats and props) that stays permanently open.
- There is a laundry room equipped with professional washing machines and tumble dryers in the basement. Residents will also find ironing set if needed.
- Hidden at the back of the inner courtyard, residents will find the small theater and its backstage dressing room that we gladly lend on request to practice piano, sing, and rehearse a hearing or an oral exam!
Open to friends and guests:
- A communal kitchen is at disposal for meal preparation (independently, without any assistance) from breakfast to dinner. It is equipped with electric cooking appliances, sinks, standard and microwave ovens, and worktops with small appliances like toasters and kettles.
- The refrigerators are shared: each resident is given an individual fridge box upon arrival. There are also some freezers available.
- Residents dispose of their own locker to store their food and tableware belongings.
- The kitchen adjoins the dining room for sharing meals between residents, friends and guests.
- In the basement and on the ground floor, two living rooms to relax and enjoy offer bookshelves, TVs board games and pianos.
- The inner courtyard is equipped with outdoor furniture and a table tennis set to enjoy good sunny times.
Please note that:
The common rooms are maintained daily by cleaning staff, which does not prevent from leaving them clean and tidy after you.
Each resident must bring their own tableware and kitchen utensils. The electric cooking appliances are turned off at night.
Washing machines and tumble dryers are both coin-operated.
A bicycle rack is made available for amateur cyclists in the inner courtyard.
Each resident has his/her own private mailbox. Parcels are taken over by the reception.
